The Louvre, a city within a city!

From the Mona Lisa to sculptures from ancient Greece, the Louvre Museum is a treasure trove of art and history, with paintings, sculptures, goldsmiths and jewellers all on show.

One afternoon won't be enough to visit everything, but you'll see some extraordinary things. And if you get the chance, try the night-time visits on Wednesday or Friday evenings from 6pm, ideal for enjoying your visit in peace and quiet, away from the crowds.

Late-night opening until 9.45pm on Wednesdays and Fridays
