Louvre Museum

Discover the most visited museum in the world

With almost 8 million visitors in 2022, the Louvre is a must-see on your trip to Paris.

From the Mona Lisa to sculptures from Ancient Greece, the Louvre is home to a wealth of artistic and historical treasures, including paintings, sculptures, silverware and armour.

What to see at the Musée du Louvre: the must-sees

With thousands of works on display, it is said that it would take no less than 4 days to visit the Louvre in its entirety!

Of course, very few visitors venture to see the museum in its entirety: but we do recommend that you set aside half a day to have time to explore the museum's finest treasures.

We recommend 5 must-sees during your visit:

1. The Mona Lisa

2. Liberty guiding the people

3. The Raft of the Medusa

4. The Department of Greek and Roman Antiquities

5. The Department of Egyptian Antiquities
Fans of Egyptology will be delighted by the museum's collection!
